FARM LIFE

my husband said we don't take enough risks... so with very little experience we bought a farm!! (it was that easy ~ NOT!!) at least three things a day happen that amaze me & i LOVE it!

Oscar shouts out there's a lizard in the pool... I'm kind of half hoping he's joking, but am always up for a challenge!

I peer into the water where the boys are looking & see this:

I'm guessing it's a newt... but I didn't grow up here. After very carefully following it around with the net I finally manage to catch it.

Of course the next question is ~ Mum can we keep it..? I agree to put it in our observation tank for a day or two.

But not knowing exactly what it is I put on rubber gloves to pick it up. I thought I'd picked it up really carefully but...

oops... sorry mate :\  Oscar wants to keep it till it grows back...

We've just built it a 'habitat' & the boys have named him Magnus Xavier...
